Kioka Tuck is well accustomed to teaching at this point. She has spent more than a decade working with youngsters in the community, but it wasn’t until recently she moved into her position at Stephens Elementary. There, she teaches third and fourth graders in a self-contained special education classroom.

She moved into the position after being a resource teacher for two years at Stephens, and she clearly excelled. She was recently named the Stephens Elementary Teacher of the Year.
