The Kiwanis Club of Alexander City is dedicated to serving local organizations who make a positive impact on local children.

At the club’s meeting Thursday afternoon, Kiwanis president Justin Moseley presented a donation to Dr. Linda Gipson-Young of Auburn University School of Nursing and Alabama Asthma Coalition. She discussed the partnership of the AAC and Children’s Harbor to provide a camp specifically for asthmatic children. Asthma Camp Eagle is an annual week-long camp held at Children’s Harbor to provide therapy and resources for children ages 7-12 with asthma.
