After having a kidney transplant in May 2024, Kenyatta Simmons has seen firsthand the effects a major surgery can have both physically and financially. Despite hardships she faced, Simmons’ maintained a positive mindset and it has led her to her next journey in life — a foundation for those with kidney disease and kidney transplant recipients.
