Main Street starts up “What’s Downtown Wednesday”

Main Street Alexander City begins its first What is Downtown Wednesday on June 21. Businesses will be open through to 7 p.m. with live music and drink specials.

“What’s Downtown Wednesday,” but a weekly event of specials and live music in Alexander City. 

The first Downtown Wednesday is from 5 to 7 p.m. today with live music by Ricky Brand. The live entertainment will be at the corner of Main Street and Calhoun Street. Main Street Alexander City executive director Michelle West said the organization is encouraging folks to bring some chairs and enjoy the outside music.
