New addition comes to DHS agriscience

Submitted / TPI The Dadeville High School agriscience program has IBC tanks set up to soon start raising Tilapias.

There’s a new part of Dadeville’s curriculum that might spark some ideas for a future career path.

Dadeville High School recently set up equipment to begin raising tilapia in the new school year. The agriscience program’s fundamentals class, which is largely ninth graders, will participate in raising tilapia. It also may be used as supervised agriculture experience for Future Farmers of America chapter members.
