New pet groomers opens in Dadeville

Shabby Paws Pet Grooming recently opened in downtown Dadeville, which is open Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

If your dog needs a bath, there’s now a place in downtown Dadeville to get your pet groomed.

Owner Abby McCook opened Shabby Paws Pet Grooming at the start of March. She said with nine years of experience under her belt she felt it was time to open up her own grooming shop. Some in town might recognize McCook from her years at the Animal Care Center although growing up, McCook lived in Jackson’s Gap and then moved to Dadeville when she got a job in town. She decided to open Shabby Paws in Dadeville since that’s not only where she lives now, but so does her family.
