House Bill 1, also called the Student Religious Liberties Act, was passed by the Alabama House of Representatives Wednesday evening.

The bill was introduced by Rep. Mack Butler (R-Rainbow City) and was designed to ensure that students’ constitutional rights to prayer and religious expressions while in public schools in protected.
