Horseshoe Bend National Military Park is busy preparing for the 197th Anniversary of the Battle of the Horseshoe  this week.

The anniversary event will be held this Saturday, March 26, and park historian Ove Jensen admitted Monday that he’s been repeatedly checking the weather forecast for the park’s big day.
