The Alexander City City Council met Monday to work on some housekeeping items before entering 2024. The meeting started with reports from standing committees where council members provided updates.
For the report on the finance committee, council president “Buffy” Colvin began these reports with a reminder that municipal licenses will expire on Dec. 31 and must be renewed by Feb. 15 with no penalty.
