Pediatric Associates of Alexander City is now offering COVID-19 vaccinations for 5- to 11-year-olds at its Alex City and Kellyton clinics.

Pediatric Associates of Alexander City is now offering the COVID-19 vaccine for patients ages 5 and up after receiving its first shipment of the smaller doses Monday.

As of last week, the COVID-19 vaccine is now recommended for elementary school-aged children by the CDC, following the Food and Drug Administration's recent approval for emergency use of the Pfizer vaccine for ages 5 to 11.
