Construction of the new Alexander City Recycling Center is officially in the works.

As of Monday, the Alexander City Recycling Center will be closed for three weeks as the City of Alexander City begins moving equipment to transition to the new recycling facility, according to a post from the City of Alexander City. During this time, the mobile recycling trailer will be unavailable as well.
