The impassable travel advisory for Tallapoosa County roads and bridges north of County Road 34 East and County Road 34 West has been lifted, according to Tallapoosa County engineer Joseph Moncrief.

Because county officials cannot guarantee the safety of all roads in the county, Moncrief advises using caution when traveling, especially on roads in shaded areas and after sunset as temperatures are expected to fall below freezing again. This can cause unsafe and icy conditions on roads that were previously reported safe.
