Small power outages continue throughout Alexander City

As of 11:30 a.m. Saturday, places in Alexander City were still without power after a microburst of straight line winds ripped through the city Thursday evening.

According to Alexander City Mayor Woody Baird, all the major lines of power had been restored to the city, but crews were continuing to work around the clock to bring electricity back to the entire city.
