Every kid should feel special on their birthday.

Each month, Tallapoosa County Department of Human Resources sends birthday cards and age-appropriate books to local children in foster care. While DHR accepts birthday card donations all year around, Tallapoosa County DHR director Brenda Floyd said right now their card supply is low.
