Training day

Members of the Alexander City Police Department practiced force on force training Monday. Training officer Lt. Marty Hodge said that officers utilized real Glock pistols that were equipped with paint cartridges.

“It is the closest we can get to an actual firefight,” Hodge said. “It hits harder than a regular paintball. We use this in order to get their stress factor up – that makes it harder to deal with the situation.”
