UPDATE: Severe weather threat shifts to Saturday morning

A severe weather threat has been issued for Saturday morning for Tallapoosa and Coosa County.

The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a new threat level for the Tallapoosa and Coosa County area.

As of March 23, Tallapoosa Emergency Management Agency Director Jason Moran relayed the issued slight risk, level two of five threat category, for parts of Tallapoosa County.
