Two vehicles collided about 1:30 p.m. Wednesday. The Alexander City Fire Department, Alexander City Police Department, Coosa County Sheriff’s Office and Tallapoosa County Sheriff’s Department responded to the accident. The accident was in the westbound lanes and traffic was slowed as only one lane was open.
