More than 7,000 eggs were hidden and then collected by a few hundred children Saturday at the Charles E. Bailey Sportplex.

The Alexander City Parks and Recreation Department partnered with Trailblazers of Alexander City for the third annual Easter egg hunt and appeared to be the largest egg hunt to date.
