Smiling faces abounded around Alexander City as Santa Claus sat atop a fire truck, giving out toys for two full days.

The Grinch takes a break while riding around Alexander City for Fire Truck Santa.

On Monday and Tuesday, Santa, Rudolph, the Grinch, Buddy the Elf and the Easter Bunny traveled all over Alexander City on Alexander City Fire Department’s newest fire truck. Santa, with some help from his friends, threw hundreds of basketballs and stuffed animals to children either standing in front of their homes, or meeting the fire truck at about a dozen hot spots around the city.
