On Saturday, former Benjamin Russell wide receiver Malcolm Simmons and his agent Casey Gunn announced his intention to enter the transfer portal to On3’s National Recruiting and Transfer Portal Reporter Hayes Fawcett on Twitter (X). 

Simmons has spent the past two seasons with Auburn, seeing the field early his freshman year with the Tigers. And so far into his career, he has compiled 65 catches for 908 receiving yards and five career touchdowns. In his last two games with Auburn, Simmons crossed 140 receiving yards in both games — playing a major role in Auburn’s game against Alabama where he had three catches for 143 yards and one touchdown. Including a 66-yard reception to set up Jeremiah Cobb for a two-yard rushing touchdown.
