Morgan, Preyear make history with college decision
When looking through the high school recruiting database, there have been countless examples of quarterbacks and wide receivers reuniting their established connections at the next level. In 2017, Mater Dei sent quarterback JT Daniels and wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown to USC while in 2018 St. Joseph Prep had receiver Marvin Harrion Jr. and quarterback Kyle McCord go to Ohio State. However, there is not a recorded instance of a QB-WR tandem both signing to Alabama, until now. After quarterback Kingston Preyear announced his commitment, he and Cederian Morgan became the first known high school duo to sign to the University of Alabama. In two years time, when Preyear finishes his high school career, the pair will reunite in Tuscaloosa and more than likely reunite in the end zone similar to how they did in the 2025 football season.Â
