The AHSAA North-South All-Star baseball game was painted with Benjamin Russell maroon on Monday night.
Benjamin Russell outfielder Gabe Benton, pitcher Jaxon Hay and coach Richy Brooks all represented the South team in Monday’s All-Star game that featured the state’s best rising seniors. Benton was named the South’s MVP after a stellar day at the plate, while Hay, a late addition to the roster due to injuries, contributed both on the mound and at the plate.
