Samuel Higgs / TPI Benjamin Russell softball falls in the Class 6A Area 5 tournament in two games against Calera.

The Benjamin Russell softball season has come to a close following losses to Calera in the Class 6A Area 5 tournament. 

Chilton County hosted after having the best area record, which meant the first game was between the Eagles and the Wildcats, ending in a 9-7 win for Calera.
