Although the season ended sooner than it would have liked, there is still much to be excited about when it comes to the Central Coosa volleyball team.

Tuesday, the Cougars made the trek over to Ranburne for the first game of the Class 2A Area 7 tournament — pitting them up against the Horseshoe Bend Generals. Although due to some unforeseen circumstances on the way there, the start left much to be desired.
