Dadeville standout impresses in summer circuit

File / TPI Dadeville's Jacob Patterson showed out through the summer with his travel ball team, the Lake Martin Patriots.

For some student-athletes, the summer is an opportunity to relax and enjoy a day out at the beach. But not for Dadeville junior Jacob Patterson.

The Dadeville baseball standout has been on the field in some capacity for a majority of the summer, if not its entirety, playing travel ball with the Lake Martin Patriots. Patterson has traveled all across the state and participated in showcases at Auburn University Montgomery, Central Alabama Community College and Troy University. He even made the trek to Georgia to play at the Carrollton High School facilities where he walked away with a team MVP distinction for his performance.
