Former associate executive director file lawsuit against AHSAA

Submitted / TPI Former AHSAA associate executive director Kim Vickers, of New Site, has filed a lawsuit against the AHSAA, alleging gender and age discrimination.

Former AHSAA executive director and former Horseshoe Bend School assistant athletic director Kim Vickers has filed a federal lawsuit against the Alabama High School Athletics Association.

The lawsuit alleges age, gender and race discrimination. The suit is the third filed by Vickers in a 12-month span. Her first was filed in June of 2024, followed by another in October of 2024 and another in June of this year before her termination from the AHSAA.
