The college basketball regular-season can get a little mundane and tedious due to its length. The tournament style postseason also reduces the importance of a single game realizing a team just has to be in it to win it.

However, the incredible intensity throughout the month of March makes up for anything lacking with its bevy of buzzer beaters. They are unavoidable. Sometimes you’re on the right side and sometimes you’re on the wrong side. Forty minutes of gametime is reduced down to one split-second. It’s pure elation when you win and totally crushing when you lose.
