Offseason work pays off in thrilling victory

Benjamin Russell’s girls basketball team knew what it was getting itself into when it saw its slate of opponents early in the season. 

On the calendar was a multitude of teams that not only have the talent to go far in the playoffs but have the experience of doing so. Rather than buckle and yield, the Wildcats turned it into a 6-1 recording heading into the holiday break.
