Unfortunately, the Auburn baseball season came to an end over the weekend after two losses to Coastal Carolina at a sold-out Plainsman Park. The Chanticleer’s outstanding pitching staff held the Tigers’ powerful offense in check and the Carolina hitters took advantage of more opportunities than their counterparts.

Butch Thompson’s team far exceeded national expectations in 2025, but was still extremely disappointed to miss out on a chance to be in Omaha. The core of the team will be back next year and the coaching staff has already begun to add important pieces to the roster. This was the first time Auburn ever hosted a Super Regional. It won’t be the last.
