With the trend in vaping on the rise among youth in Alabama, the state instituted a law requiring the Alabama State Board of Education to adopt policies to curtail and combat the trend in August.

Each school district was tasked with creating not only awareness, education and prevention programs, but also creating a disciplinary plan.
