Tallassee native and longtime resident of the Wall Street area, Wilbur Terrell, Sr., was honored by the Tallapoosa County Commission Monday morning with a proclamation and in May the Wall Street Nutrition Center will officially be renamed after Terrell.

The Tallapoosa County Commission honored former Wall Street resident Wilbur Terrell, Sr., with a proclamation at its monthly meeting Monday morning.

Terrell, who died in April 2025, contributed to many different areas of the Wall Street community.
