The new digs for Benjamin Russell athletics at the new high school have plenty of advantages. And one of them was just showcased on the hardwood on Wednesday.

Benjamin Russell’s girls basketball team hosted seven schools for a play date, with games going on the main court and the neighboring auxiliary gym for hours on end. The Wildcats, participating in two games, took home wins over Beauregard and Clay Central. Of course, there was plenty of good to showcase on the court; BRHS coach Rickey Pulliam was excited about the opportunity to host as many teams as they did.
