When you’ve crossed the 100-tackle threshold through multiple seasons, you’re bound to attract the attention of college programs. And it’s safe to say BRHS’ Charles Chappelle did exactly that.

Wednesday, Chappelle was one of five Benjamin Russell football players to ink his commitment to play at the next level. He had his pick of the litter with Liberty, Louisiana Monroe and Tennessee Tech all vying for the standout defender — but it was the University of North Alabama that won the sweepstakes.
