On Wednesday, officials at Louisiana State University reversed their recent decision to ban visiting schools’ marching bands from playing at halftime during football games.

This about face came after The Times-Picayune in New Orleans got LSU athletic department spokesman Michael Bonnette to confirm the banning decision on June 10.
