As a surprise addition to their schedule, the Alexander City Arts Inc. is excited to be announcing the U.S. Army Field Band Jazz Ambassadors will be performing a free concert March 7 at the Benjamin Russell High School auditorium.

“They play music of Glenn Miller, Count Basie and Duke Ellington as well as current music and even Broadway showtunes,” said program chairman Jim Spencer. “They can also play march songs. They have at least one singer. It is pretty much an all ages show and they play a wide spectrum of music.”
