A young female pilot’s journey to aviation success

Savannah Weaver has admired airplanes from afar since she grew up near Maxwell Air force base. When the opportunity arose to not only sit in the co-pilot seat of John Hicks’ V-35 Bonanza at the age of 14, but also handle the controls in the air, she quickly realized this was exactly what she wanted to do.
