Since the beginning of the school’s fall semester, students at Central Alabama Community College have had access to a new, more powerful student alert system aimed at improving communication in the event of an emergency.

The student alert system is a huge advancement over the school’s previous system, CACC’s Director of Institutional Services Wesley Story said.
