The Alabama Conference First Check-Up meeting was held Feb. 20 at 9 a.m. at the Thompson Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church in Opelika. Dr. A.L. Wilson is the host pastor and presiding elder of the Opelika District and James E. McCoy is the bishop.

The Rev. Willie P. Echols is resting at home after spending a few days in East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika.
