Cold air continues to pour into the area, causing freezing temperatures and a lot of wind. However, the chilly atmosphere has not put a damper on this community’s spirit.

This week the Benjamin Russell High School Junior Civitan Club received a plaque for a blood drive they sponsored in November for LifeSouth. The blood drive collected 112 units of blood. President-elect of the club, Michael Daniel, received the plague for the organization from LifeSouth’s Linda Gross.
