A generous donation from a Tallapoosa County family will provide new opportunities for students in the Tallapoosa County School system.

Monday the Tallapoosa County Board of Education passed a resolution accepting the B.L. Young family’s donation of 23.77 acres of land. The property is adjacent to McElvey Park.
