Family cabin hand built from childhood trees

Memories of days gone by surround Tom Stubbs’ family members when they gather together for holidays and special events. Across the street stands the home where Stubbs’ grandparents lived when he was a boy. Just down the road, Stubbs’ childhood home, the home where he was born, is still in the family. And, on that same property, which has been in his family since 1927, Stubbs built a farmhouse using lumber from trees he planted as a child.
