Convicted murderer Harold Junior Guy was sentenced to life in prison for leaving his stepdaughter in his burning New Site home on Aug. 3, 2006, to die.

Circuit Court Judge Ray Martin sentenced Guy, who admitted to police he had left his 13-year-old stepdaughter Amanda Moler in his burning home on Church Street to die, to a life sentence on the murder conviction. Guy also was sentenced to the maximum of 10 years for the conviction of willful abuse of a child.
