Everyone knows summer is on the horizon, and to keep students motivated and focused on school, Jim Pearson Elementary has adopted “gotcha” tags, which are awarded to students with exceptional behavior and gives them the chance to win weekly prizes and a bicycle.

“The school is supporting the positive behavior of students and we have been doing it all year, so this nine weeks we’re using gotchas,” said principal Ellen Martin.
