Dr. Paul Goldhagen, an orthopedic surgeon with Bone and Joint Specialists in Alexander City, recently started performing ambulatory total knee replacement surgeries. With the ambulatory procedure, no hospital stay is required; patients can go home three to four hours after surgery.
