Nuke doctor with local ties arrested in NM for child molestation

Adam Lowther, 41, a former Wetumpka resident and Elmore County Republican Party Executive Committee member, was arrested on two felony child molestation charges in New Mexico where he was serving as the director of the School for Advanced Nuclear Studies.

A vocal proponent for the proliferation of the nation’s nuclear weapons arsenal was arrested on two felony child molestation charges in Albuquerque where he was the instructor of a nuclear studies school at the nation’s leading nuke base.

Prior to his September arrest Adam Lowther, 41, had been director of the School for Advanced Nuclear Deterrence Studies at Kirtland Air Force Base in New Mexico since its development in 2015 – the base of historical record in the development of the U.S. as the leading nuclear power.
