The seat left vacant by the retirement of Judge Howard Bryan was filled during Tuesday night’s Democratic primary.

Steve Perryman beat out Mark Allen Treadwell in the race for place 3 on the Fifth Judicial Circuit. The circuit covers Chambers, Macon, Randolph and Tallapoosa Counties.
