Local law enforcement is playing a major role in making sure teenagers are aware of the dangers of drinking and driving through the driver’s education program at county schools.

Dadeville Police Officer Dallas Ledbetter knew that if he could show the students what it is like to drink and drive, there was a good chance they wouldn’t do it. He obtained fatal vision goggles that simulate a blood alcohol level above the legal limit and put students in a golf cart with the goggles on.
