Remembering the events of Sept. 11

Three years ago I joined every other American in dealing with the tragedy that was Sept. 11, 2001. Three years later, the shock may have worn away but the pain and sadness for the victims and their families has not.

Most outsiders feel that members of the media are less sensitive – almost immune – to the tragedy of terrible events. And, a point they are right.
