Upward cheerleaders get hands dirty for cancer research

The Upward Bound cheerleaders have joined hands with children around Tallapoosa County to fight the disease which ended the life of their friend and teammate.

The group has been selling “handprints” to raise money for the American Cancer Society, and this week over one-hundred painted tiles will be added to the wall around the Sportplex’s Imagination Station playground.
