Nestled along the shore of Lake Talisi lies Tallassee’s Riverwalk, a wooden boardwalk that carries travelers from the shoreline and the boat ramp to the shores just behind Tallassee’s Guest House on Ann Street.

“When it’s warm, we go down there about every two or three weeks,” said Jennifer Easterling. “We go for exercise, but we also like to look around for nature. I homeschool one of my children, and we go to see the different things that have to do with nature. And a lot of it depends on what we are studying. She found some flat rocks, and we notice the different types of leaves. We found some bottles down there that we took to the Tallassee Falls Museum.”
